New wardrobe
Okay so i'm going to get all new clothes for the spring, new year new clothes indo this every so often and i was wondering where i should buy them, anyway i want all my clothes to be somewhat compatable but i only want 2 brands and i don't know which ones to get...i' e narrowed it down though to Guess?, Calvin Klein, le chateau and Ralph Lauren. Whenever you point out the devastating problems created by GWB policies that we are still digging out from, the hard core right makes snide comments about liberals blaming Bush - as if the blame was not deserved and if blaming Bush meant that the Obama administration is not working on solving those problems.
Pew Research now shows that there is much more to 'Blame Bush' on - this time the blamers may come from his own political party.

Pew has released a new survey about the social and political attitudes of various generations, and it makes for interesting reading. The thing that strikes me the most is just how clear the trends are. Each successive generation is more politically independent; more religiously independent; less likely to be married in their 20s; less trusting of others; less likely to self-ID as patriotic; and less opposed to gay rights. There's virtually no overlap at all. It's just a smooth, straight progression.
But the single most interesting chart in the report is one that doesn't show this smooth progression. You've probably seen this before from other sources, but the chart on the right basically shows that for the past 40 years voting patterns haven't differed much by age. In fact, there's virtually no difference between generations at all until you get to the George Bush era. At that point, young voters suddenly leave the Republican Party en masse. Millennials may be far less likely than older generations to say there's a big difference between Republicans and Democrats, but their actual voting record belies that.

A different kind of dilemma?
Well basically, I have finally found a girl that I truly love and that loves me as well. She is quite literally perfect for me, we have tons of stuff in common, etc etc. The only cons here are 1) she lives in Greece, I live in the USA (sadly) and 2) she also has kids from a previous relationship. The long-distance shit really isn't too much of a problem for me, but the kids thing kind of is. It truthfully kind of bothers me that she has kids from before when I came around, and I also don't know how the hell I'm going to adjust to being a father figure to kids who aren't even biologically mine. It's seriously getting to me, but I truly love this woman more than I've ever loved anyone in my life, and there's no way in hell that I'm just going to dump her over something like that. But seriously, how the hell will I adjust to this? How do I even be a good "father"? I'm worried.

Afraid to tell my mom and dad
Okay, so me and this girl like each other. Her parents will not let her date, unless there is other people around, which I totally respect that. But every time I have a crush on a girl my parents go insane. I am afraid to tell them that this girl likes me and I like her. So I decided today to have a look at what I used to post on here way back when. Just searching old posts took too long, but searching old threads started was easy enough.
Oh holy shit I was such an embarrassing teen when I first started posting here. Not much in the way of p101 posts but I really took the whole 'sassy gay teen' persona to a new level.
No real point to this thread, just wondering if anyone else amongst the older users has looked back to early posts and been incredibly embarrassed of who we used to be? It's kinda nice in a sense too, to be reminded of how life was all those years ago.

Should I Do This?
Okay let me start off by explaining my situation. I am a sophomore in high school, I'm pretty smart so I have to take some advanced classes online (my school is too small to offer those). My crush on the other hand is a senior, which makes her almost 2 years older than me (I am 16 and she is not quite 18). We have known each other for like 7 years and have always been nice to each other and such but only good friends for the past 2 years. I know the age difference seems a little extreme for high school, but most of the girls in my school see me as being way more mature and respectful than my classmates, and many of the juniors forget from time to time that I am not in their class. My question is that I do not know if I should go after her or not. The age thing doesn't seem that big to me because of my maturity and being an honorary junior class member, but is it still too much?
Any tips and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Starting puberty?
I don't know of I started puberty yet but I'm 13 almost 14 and my left nipple grew and now has a hard lump underneath it, which I heard is normal but my testicles haven't become large yet and I don't have body hairs except tiny ones on arms and legs . Did I start puberty yet?
