Serious question.
Why do people think drugs are cool?
I'm 16 and I've had my fair chances at getting my hands on drugs. I never do, because I'm not cool jk.
But everyone (mostly everyone) thinks drugs are cool. Is there something cool about doing something illegal and getting away with it?
Now I'm not really talking about weed here, because let's face it. Almost everyone smokes weed. I personally haven't and don't plan to, though most of my friends
do or have tried it.
I'm mostly talking about the more hardcore drugs here. Meth, cocaine, pills ect.
I know of people my age (16) that snort cocaine and get high and think they're the most bada** person in the world.
These drugs can seriously mess up your life.
It's not like you can say "sure let's add it to the list of things I've done." Because these drugs can become a serious addiction.
I'm always pressured by society to do things I don't want to do.
For what? Just so everyone thinks I'm cool or normal?
Or those people on social media sites that say stuff like "blow lines, f*ck dimes."
And take pictures of drugs on their coffee table, we've all seen these people before.
I don't get it. I truly, truly don't get it. People are ruining their lives at such a young age, and for what?
It makes me seem like the only normal one at times lol.
Since I'm not getting a girl pregnant, drinking, doing drugs, smoking cigarettes. Or something of the like.
Please share your stories with drugs and how they've effected you. Or why you did them in the first place. I'd love to hear what people have to say.
I'm proud to say, I'm 16 and never smoke, gotten drunk, done drugs, or have had sex. Some say I must live a boring life. I say I'm me.
