Need some advice about a girl, I dont know what to do

So there is this girl who i just met this year, we had one class together and we talk and all that, one night when we were both drunk we made out with each other and stopped talking for a few days, but then she texted me saying whatsup and all that, and ever since then we have been texting alot, we've hungout multiple times but nothing really happened. This has been going on for like a month. My friend also likes this girl, but we have talked it over and everything is good in that aspect, he asked her to the movies but she denied, yet her and I hangout. So my friend brought something up about myself and her, and she just said that we were just friends, do you think that she said that to spare his feelings or that I am friend zoned, should i tell her that i like her or would it just be weird? idk what i should do, if you need more info just ask.

Also, her bestfriend asked me if i liked her im like meh ya a little bit and she said awhhh thats so cute or something like that, im not sure if that means anything
