There have been major Shakespearean references in Star Trek since the original series in the 1960s. Of course the Bard's influence was most profoundly felt in Star Trek: The Next Generation when the Shakespearean actor Sir Patrick Stewart was cast in the role of Capt. Jean-Luc Picard.
This thread can be used to discuss Shakespeare in Star Trek or to link to specific scenes. But if you do that PLEASE LIST THE EPISODE TITLE AND SERIES OR THE NAME OF THE FILM WHICH YOU ARE REFERENCING. This is to avoid spoilers. If somebody doesn't recognize a title they can quickly avert their eyes and move on to the next post. ;)
I will start off with an outstanding episode from the 3rd season of TNG. It's called "The Defector" and it is sprinkled with references to Henry V. It actually begins with a scene on the holodeck of Picard directing Data in the campfire segment of that play.
Since it's at the very start of the episode, it's not a spoiler to include this clip.
It's a well crafted episode which features some of Sir Patrick's best acting of the entire series. Certainly worth a download.
