Well, They got my attention.
It's a new tv series, based off a vampire book series of the same name. The setup so far has been pretty good. Starts out with a standard bio-terror archetype and grows from there. There's an awesome super vampire(above gif) that will erase twilight from recent memory. The characters are a bit meh, but I'm hopeful the writing will get better and that they'll grow to be more interesting.
Might turn out to be total garbage, or it might not. It's too early to tell. The pilot managed to succeed in making me want to see the next episode, so that's a good sign.
