Hey guys, I just had an argument with kitchengirl and i want opinions on two questions about it.
So two of our longtime freinds just broke up I wont mention their names cause they wouldnt like it. Basically they were together for 2 years and they have both done small things they shouldnt have. This weekend gone they were out for lunch when the girl who we will call jill supposedly saw him who we will call john staring at the waitress, she got mad and accused him of ogling her. His response was 'no thats crazy'. They argued for the rest of the meal over this before he went home so she could go out with her friends
Later that night one of my single guyfriends saw jill kissing someone at the club while a freind of jill reports seeing a girl she didnt know in jill and john's apartment. Both friends told them.
We know she was kissing a guy but she was apparently realllly drunk (her supposed excuse) Now the girl they didnt know happens to be my twin sister who delivers fucking pizza who swore nothing happened.
Later that night they got in a row and both accused the other of cheating and jill broke up with him throwing him out. He showed up at our apartment and as he is my best friend in the world i promise him the couch. So the next day I attend his pity party at the bar and he is really broken over it and is just on and on about how stupid he was to accuse her of cheating.
So he arranges to stay with his brother and then i come home to ruadh telling me about jills pity party. Apparently it was six girls drinking and eating ice-cream while hating on my boy john while jill cries 'how could he do this to me' (after we cleared up that the girl in the apartment was my sister and that nothing happened).I say to Ruadh that he doesnt deserve any of that and jill cheated so jill should feel guilty.
Then she basically exploded at me about john being a bum, (employed and in college) stupid, (585/600 in his leaving cert aka A+) neglective (literally treated jill to lunch every saturday) and insensitive (crying like a baby for the past five days). I then called jill a bitch and some uncalled for stuff even though some of it is true. Since then we have been very snappy with each other and i want to end the hostility.
So first question is how do I fix this with ruadh? I want back down from John's defence but i will let it go if we can make up. So how?
And the second question is do you think jill should be allowed to turn sll her friends against john like she has even though she was obviously in the wrong?
