Love in Secret

So I just entered my first relationship with a good childhood friend. We live in different towns and go to different schools. She’s a junior in high school and I’m a sophomore in high school, yes she is one year older than me (actually about 1 year and a little less than 1 month). We just recently confessed our feelings towards each other. The problem is that her father wouldn’t approve of her having a boyfriend, thinking that having one would skew her priorities, which it doesn’t, so far at least. Next year, she’ll be busy with college stuff so going out with some friends to watch a movie and us holding hands would be a bit of a stretch. In two years she’ll be in college, and I’ll be a senior, working on college stuff. By then, I hope that both of us will have webcams and we could video chat with each other once a day or something like that. In college, that’ll probably be the same, us video-chatting.

This summer, we’re both going to volunteer at the local soup kitchen so we could spend some time together that way. I’m not sure what we’ll be doing over the subsequent summers.

So until then, we want to keep our relationship on the low-down. At this point, we’re just facebook messaging each other every day, which we’ve already done for a few months before we started this relationship. I’m not sure of a way to keep our relationship secret and still act like a couple besides over the internet and me grabbing her into a closet and hugging her.
