How to measure:

This is generally agreed upon by most sex researchers as the "correct" way, and it will allow for the results to be reliable:

• Stand with a full erection.
• Do not measure along the side or bottom of your penis; that will result in a larger measurement and it is not the official one used by most sex statisticians.
• The ruler or measuring tape should NOT be "pushed in" to your body while measuring. Just let it touch your abdomen gently without pressure.

• If the top of your penis is relatively flat with no upward or downward curve:
  
  • Use either a measuring tape or a ruler to measure the distance along the top of your penis from where your penis attaches to your body out to the tip of the head (the pee-hole).

• If your penis is curved in any direction (which is also normal):
  
  • Use a measuring tape (more accurate). Measure as above, allowing the tape to curve and bend to follow the contour of your penis.
