contemplating god

lately, my life has been going to hell. after everything bad has happened-when i still believed in god- i never felt his presence. i never felt like he was helping me. if he is real, he has caused a lot of pain in my life. now, getting away from being self centered, i wouldn't want to live in a world where god exists. this is because, and really think about this one, he lets little children starve to death everyday. there are organizations and foundations that give them food, but kids still starve. and think about all the people that get murdered and raped for no reason. all the death in this world, and where is god? If god can't see the future, that means he doesn't have power over everything. so he must have none Satan would have turned bad, Adam and Eve would've eaten the fruit, and everything in this world. Is he playing some kind of cruel joke? so, basically, he is responsible for murders. thanks if you've come to this post to help me decide my mind. please don't give me the "blind faith" lecture. my mind works of facts and evidence. so, if your not gonna say anything that is relevant to me, please don't say anything at all.

i want to believe in god for the thought of heaven, but my mind doesn't see any credible sources that proves it, so here comes atheism. i believe in atheism because i also have some info on why it is true. there is a part of the brain that when electrocuted, it causes what i would believe to be religious experiences. so, i hope some of you can help me. thanks for stopping by this post and commenting. again, if you do not have anything relevant to me, please don't say anything at all.
