When you look at shows that take place in the 80's. The main character usually has confidence. Right? He's ok with where he is in life. He gets good grades, he has a good sized group of friends, he's very likable, and he's comfortable in his own skin. But girls still don't like him. (enters from the side of the screen) Oh, hi. My name is Derryck, and I am seeking to dig out the secret to why, in a high school setting, the guys with a little bit of everything are still looked at by girls as a waste of human resources.
