So I'm 15 and I go to my local YMCA about twice or three times a week. I go there, work out and/or swim, and then go to take a shower and use the steam room or sauna. I always get completely naked in the shower, and when I'm in the steam room or sauna, I unwrap my towel and sit on that, naked. There's no one there really that's my age, mostly men from 25-30 years old, or else they're 60 and above. While I'm not self-conscious about my penis size or about getting erections in the showers or when others are around (it happens occasionally but less and less now), people have been giving me weird looks.
Now, I'm not being naked way more than I need to be (I'm not walking around ass naked everywhere I go and blow drying my balls and taint with the hair dryer, like some of the old creeps), but I'm not being a prude and covering up obsessively just because our American culture has taught us to shun nudity. And what's worse, most people are naked, at least in the shower and changing areas, but they're looking at ME like I'm doing something weird.
Has this happened to anyone else, and do you have any advice as to how to deal with this?
