Rookies! Stars of tomorrow... and today?

This may just be me but there has been an unexpected amount of young athletes who are making major impacts on their teams and in their sports. There are athletes across all sports that have made a difference in their first year or two in the league. This thread is for talking about new talent breaking out of the gates. If anyone has an explanation for this abnormal amount of rookie sensations you can post that here too. Or if you can think of any other athletes that made an impact their first few years in the pros (guys who have retired or are into their careers that made an impact when they first broke into the league)

The most notable is Mike Trout. CF for the Angels, 22 years old. 2 years of experience. Trout broke into the league last year when he batted .326 with 30 home runs. He had 49 stolen bases and got it done in the field too making incredible catches every game. He won the Rookie of the Year and if Miguel Cabrera hadn't had one of the best seasons in recent memory then he would have won the MVP too. As a ROOKIE. He did it again this year finishing second in the MVP voting to Cabrera again.

How about some of those NFL QB's? anyone?
