So there's this guy who went to my school last year
He's pretty much EVERYTHING I would want in a guy (absofrickenlutely), and I would like to get to know him better. If not as a boyfriend, at least as a friend. He seems cool.
However, the only times I talked to him were when we were assigned to do projects together, and this one time in the beginning of last year when we walked down the hallway together discussing music. (Yeah, I know)
Anyways, I discovered that he wasn't going to my school anymore and decided to chat him up on facebook. Carpe diem, ya know?
Long story short, I asked him a couple things things (One about school,a concert, etc). He's engaging in what I'm asking him (ex: "you should check out <insert band name here>") But it takes him HOURS- anywhere from 1 to 24- to reply. He doesn't go on facebook much. There has been about, I dunno, maybe 15 messages (from both of us) in our conversation right now. Not much at all :L.
Should I say something along the lines of "This convo is stretching out so long. Want my number? :P"
Or is that too weird?
If he liked me in return he'd be messaging me quite a bit more and asking questions, too. So it's obvious that he doesn't. But I kind of at least want to be friends with him.
Should I give him my number? Or will that be too soon in our conversation? What if he never texts me after that?
