BMW has just unveiled there newest "sports car". It's a 3,290 pound fire breather with a 230 horsepower inline three engine that is mated to a 130 horsepower electric motor. For those that are not fans of mathematic that means it has a combined total of 360 horsepower and 420 foot pounds of torque. Now with all of that raging, angry Bavarian power behind the rear seats, you'd think it would suck gasoline. Well actually it doesn't. It actually gets 94 mpg in the EU Combined Cycle Test (which actually means it will probably get about 50 here). Anyway, the price is actually a bit lower than I thought it was going to be. They just announced that in the US market it will cost $135,000 (I was thinking it would be closer to $150,000).
