Since I do a bit of cooking for my family every now and again and quite enjoy it I thought I would start a thread around the idea of cooking.Tbh I do fairly basic things so I won't be sharing gourmet menu ideas but thought it would be fun to have an area for people to say what they have cooked or describe what the best meal is that they get at home etc Disasters as well as successes are equally welcome.
So here is the first one.
I cooked for my family on Friday. It was very ordinary. Just a pasta bake with ham and mushrooms. The thing I was pleased about was that I had to make a cheese sauce to go with it and the last time I tried one it went lumpy but this time it was OK. Since it was supposed to be just a quick ordinary meal and it tasted quite good I reckon it was a success.
